2007 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc
The 2008 Sauvignon Blanc from the Seventy Five Wine Company tells the story
of what California Sauvignon Blanc is supposed to be. This wine is terrific.

The addition of the Sauvignon Musque clone to this year’s vintage has created a wine
with incredible intensity of flavor combined with wonderful lightness and crisp acidity.
Fermented completely in stainless steel, this wine is aged sur lie for nearly three months,
which adds to its weight and complexity. The wine shows notes of sweet toast, honeysuckle
and fresh tropical melon intertwined with wonderful notes of lemongrass, fresh figs and
wet stone. All of the power behind this wine is complimented by wonderful balanced
acidity on the finish. The result is a wine of fantastic opulence and wonderful nuance.
